Everyone always says they want to “get away from it all,” but where exactly do you go to do that? One look at the peaceful waters of the lake while you sip your morning coffee or tea will be all the convincing you need that you made the right choice by coming to Melgeorge’s. We have many cabins to choose from, as well as comfortable rooms in our lodge. Our restaurant and bar is available to all guests and offers an exceptional traditional north woods menu for breakfast, lunch and diner.

Lodge Rooms

Lakeshore Cabin Rentals

Stunning lakeshore cabins that are the ideal place to leave the stress of everyday life behind you. Fully air conditioned to help you cool off after an adventurous day outdoors, these cabins come with all the modern amenities. These are great options for larger families and groups looking to share the joys of escaping from the confines of everyday life. Stay in our authentic log cabin, or kick your feet up in one of our many other fantastic spots, all just a short walk to the lake.

We use Reztracker as our online reservations service for both lodge rooms and cabin rentals. This allows you to view vacancies, see rates and reserve your lodging, all from the comfort of your home. Deposit:
Weekly Cabin Rentals Require a $400.00 deposit, $500.00 for Maple, Cedar & Tamarack Cabins. The Deposit is due at the time of booking. Daily Rentals require half down at the time of booking.

Cancellations:
You must cancel at least 60 days in advance to receive a refund on your deposit. A $45.00 service fee will be charged for All Refunds.

Cabin Maintenance:
ALL CABINS AND ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING. Please pick up your butts outside and use the cans on the decks. Damage: We maintain the right to charge your credit card for any damage or extensive cleaning caused by guests and/or their pets. The person that signed for the room/cabin will be charged for the damages.

Fish Cleaning House:
Located at the resort near Maple Cabin. Please be sure to rinse off the table and sink when you are finished cleaning
fish and game.

Fire Pits:
CABINS: Each Cabin has a fire pit located near the cabin.
LODGE: A fire pit is located in the front of the lodge near the lake for your use. Please refrain from roasting food over the fire during dining hours at the lodge restaurant.

Fire Wood:
Bundled fire wood for sale, pick up and pay at the Lodge Gift Shop.

Pets:
Pets must not be left unattended at any time. Owners must clean up after their pets. Owners will be charged for any damages caused by their pets.

ATM:
NEW! - Our new ATM offers a new feature which allows us to use the machine for larger sums when guests are paying for their lodging bills. The ATM accepts debit and all credit cards. (a PIN number is required for both debit and credit cards. You can find out your credit card PIN by calling your credit card company). We will pay the transaction fee when you use this machine to pay for your lodging!

Trailer Parking:
All trailers must be parked in the designated areas. No trailer parking by cabins.

Lodge Hours:
The Lodge Restaurant & Bar hours vary depending on the season. Check at the Lodge Gift Shop for current hours of operation.

Gas Grills:
The propane is plumbed to all our grills. Turn the valve on the main line prior to lighting the grills. Always close the valve when finished cooking.
CABINS: Each Cabin has a Gas Grill on the deck.
LODGE: Two Gas Grills & Picnic tables are available for your use. They are located near Room #8 on the east side of the lodge.

Garbage:
Please place your garbage in the bin by Bass Cabin for daily pick up.

Kids:
No lifeguard on duty. All children must have adult supervision while swimming. All minors must be out of the lodge by 10pm.

Game Room:
The Game Room is located in the basement of Maple Cabin. Normal Game Room hours are 10am to 9pm. Anyone exhibiting behavior which disrupts the guests in Maple will be asked to refrain from using the game room. Game Room Hours are subject to change. Anyone causing damage to the Game Room will be charged for the damages and asked to refrain from using the Game Room.

Paddleboat, Kayaks, Canoe:
These items are free to our guests. Adults & Children must wear Life Jackets. Kayaks are kept at the lodge. You may check out the kayaks and get the paddles inside the lodge at the gift shop. Please return & dock all vessels after use, failure to do so will result in a $10.00 fee towards your cabin/room.

Water Bikes:
$20.00/cabin or room - One time fee and use the bikes throughout your entire stay. Check out the Water Bikes at the lodge gift shop. One hour sessions. Water Bikes must be returned to the lodge dock after your rides. Do not leave the Water Bikes on the beach during your session.
